Software and Data Requirements

You will need the free R software (www.cran.r-project.org) or Stata (www.stata.com) installed on your computer (and, as an option, the free "shiny", "shinydashboard", and "ggplot2" R packages to use RCT-YES-Graph in R).  No programming knowledge is required.

You will need a data file accessible from your computer, which will be used in the analysis. This file should be a .dta file if you plan to use Stata or a .rds file if you will use R. Instructions for converting Excel (.CSV) files into an R file can be found in the User’s Manual.

Changes in Version 1.1:
  1. Increases the maximum number of blocks that can be included in the analysis for certain blocked designs
  2. Fixes bugs that might cause the R or Stata program to crash when certain inputs are specified more than once or when both numeric and character codes are specified for a subgroup analysis
  3. Improves the display of graphs in RCT-YES-Graph and the reporting of errors for subgroup analyses
  4. Fixes a bug when launching RCT-YES using a previously-saved input specification (.rctyes) file
